Medical cover at events is very importance and is something that should always be taken very seriouslyAll our First Aid staff have a minimum qualification of FAA Level 2 award in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillationcertificate and receive continuous personal development by means of in house training.

Recover to Perform are available to hire to cover first aid for events and matches.  All of our first aiders are fully trained and qualified with broad experience.  We can provide an optional extra of sports massage if required.

Injury Prevention and Recovery session:

This 4 hour injury prevention session is vital for every athlete to explain the importance of stretching, recovering and preventing injuries.  A very hands on practical session engages all abilities of athlete, providing a great understanding to injury prevention and recovery. 

 The session includes:

  • What to include in a warm up
  • How to use a foam roller correctly.
  • The benefits of using ice baths.
  • How to stretch specific muscles.
  • How to stretch using Thera bands.
  • How to cool down effectively.

Strapping and Taping:

Strapping and Taping is available at £5 per limb.  We use a wide range of tapes dependant on the requirements (Zinc oxide, EAB, K-Tape).  We can tape to help prevent injuries such as dislocations, sprains and muscle damage.  Our taping techniques can also be used to correct:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Shin splints
  • Patella mal-tracking
  • Posture
  • Muscle strains
  • Lower back pain
  • Carpal Tunnel syndrome
  • Tennis elbow

Morning activation session:

Our morning activation sessions are great for teams and individuals first thing in the morning.  They help to activate certain muscles and prepare the body before an event.  Specific to the sport, the activations are adapted to each athlete’s needs.  The sessions are fun and easy, which helps engage all athletes.

Concussion – Gradual return to play (GRTT):

Concussion must be taken extremely seriously to safeguard the short and long term health and welfare of players.

A Gradual return to train (GRTT) program will see the athlete through the whole process making sure that they are safe to return to play.

Recover to Perform have returned many athletes at different abilities safely back to playing.

Sports Massage increases joint mobility by strengthening connective tissue. Strengthening cartilage, ligaments and tendons will prevent injuries and improve performance. Sports massage will break down scar tissue and restore a range of movement. Restoring a range of movement will enhance recovery. Removing tightness and restrictions from the muscle will improve the elasticity of the skin, which will help with flexibility and will increase the range of movement. Improving blood flow will able the muscles to receive more oxygen quickly to recover. Sports massage helps to create a positive body image by relaxing and reducing stress levels. This is good to keep the heart and mind healthy. Sports massage reduces pain and promotes recovery.

Massage Therapy Session Descriptions

Short Session - 30 minutes
Great for injury area of focus and pre and mid event sports massage to get the muscles loosened quickly.

Mid-session – 45 minutes
When a short session is not quite enough, try the mid-session. Ideal for removing knots, tension and working on specific injuries.

Full Session - 60 minutes

“The traditional” - full body session’s, post events, plus deep tissue work on an area that needs more attention and specific work. Ideal for post-surgery and rehabilitation from injury.

Event day
Available to book for a whole day such as tournaments, races, triathlons and matches.

Block bookings
Block bookings are a great way to save you money if you require further treatments on specific areas.


Method of Payment
Payment is due when services are provided through cash, cheques and online transfers.

Cancellation Policy
Recover to Perform require 24 hours advance notice of cancellations. Less than 24 hour notice will be charged full price of session reserved.
